I opened my business with just $1.31 and have kept it running for 20+ years, navigating challenges to build a stable business that have allowed me to purchase homes, other business and grow my family. My journey began with a love for self-care. Years before I knew I wanted to create a space of my own. I first started working part time in various spas. Then one day I sat down and crafted a 5-year plan to start a new career in my own Spa. The vision was coming together just fine, but in 2008, only 3 years into my plan —the unthinkable happened, a global financial crisis. As a result like many, I lost my steady job while supporting a family. To save my home and to keep my kids on track I converted a property I owned into a spa. With resilience and unshakable faith and many mistakes, but all the set-backs and adversity came together and turned into a lasting, stable business. By grace, that experience has equipped me to help others build businesses faster and with greater ease, even in the face of challenges.
