Things to know Before a Facial Services

  • Do not use any active chemical acids or Retinol, Vitamin A products 3 to 5 days prior and after the facial. We ask that you inform Shared Skin Esthetics Academy and Spa of use of this products on your skin.

  • Kindly inform Shared Skin Esthetics Academy of any facial waxing 3 days prior to and after your facial treatment.

  • Botox is ok 3 days before or after

  • Collagen Fillers must be administered 2 weeks prior or as instructed by physician before your facial treatments.

  • Refrain from laser hair removal on treated area 2 weeks prior to and after your facial treatment

  • If you are more than 20 weeks pregnant, a consent from your doctor stating that it is okay to lay on your back for 50-80 minutes for your service is required.

  • Having an active cold sore or open lesion on the skin is not recommended for a facial and you will not be serviced for your facial treatment.

  • MEN - Do not shave the day of your facial, if you forget just let us know prior to treatment.

SPA POLICIES

BOOKING POLICY:

  • Our online booking service is very simple. 

  • We do not accept same day online appointment scheduling to assure quality of care with each treatment.

  • New to our spa we kindly ask that you call to book your first appointment.

  • Returning Clients that use the convenience of our online booking are required to pay for services in FULL to receive 50% off at the time of Booking an appointment.

  • Please Call if you need assistance choosing the service best for your unique skin or body needs.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • We do not accept same day cancellations. Kindy cancel 24 hours prior to service to avoid cancellation fees. 

  • Cancellations that occur with proper notice of 24 HOURS BEFORE Total prepaid balance will be refunded back to the method of initial payment, or a store credit will be issued to be used to reschedule your desired service option.

  • Cancellations that DO NOT occur 24 hours before service will be charged a NON-REFUNDABLE cancellation fee of 50% the cost of the scheduled service.  Ex. Scheduled service cost $50, cancellation without 24 hours prior notice a $25 fee will be charged.

  • The remaining prepaid balance will be refunded back to the method of initial payment.

LATE APPOINTMENT / APPOINTMENT NO SHOWS:

Late Appointment: There is a very gracious period of 25 minutes, please call or text to let me know you are running behind for your scheduled appointment.  If you are more than 30 minutes late your appointment will need to be rescheduled and the cancellation policy of half the cost of service will be deducted from your prepaid service amount.  If you are sick or just not feeling up to receiving your scheduled appointment, kindly give me a call to reschedule 24 hours prior to your appointment. 

NO SHOWS / NO CALLS / NO Appointment FOLLOW-UP

 The entire balance of the prepaid amount will be forfeited.  This is not our desire but is sternly enforced.
